..and we don’t mean just in a cool way, we mean temperature hot too! The team just got back from the Avaya Executive Conference in Cancun and it was all kinds of hot, both in the conference center and outside.
Inside, we watched as senior executives from Avaya and Forrester Research brought out slide after slide showing that the success path for technology business’ is wrapped around professional services. It is not enough anymore to just have a successful product; rather a Service Provider, like Call One, has to be able to help determine customer outcomes. The customer experience is going to be key.
Another key point is that business technology decisions are increasingly being made, not just influenced; but made outside of the IT circle. Granted the IT department will always have some sort of say in the final decision but increasingly it is the business user that is driving the need for technology and choosing what types of technology to invest company resources. Forester and Avaya both were very firm in their assertion that tech companies not focused on delivering client outcomes directly and simplifying the experience were not going to be around in the long term.
At Call One, the Professional Services Team is focused on exactly that; delivering client outcomes consistently, completely, and simply. We were very excited to see our plan accredited by such an esteemed partner as Avaya and look forward to working with them and our other partners in 2015!
